New Painting!

I took the past few days off to work on a new personal piece and the result is this cheetah painting. I had so much fun painting this piece and I love how the reds and yellows compliment each other so well. This piece is 24" x 24" acrylic on stretched canvas.

Pet Portraits

Dogs are some of my favorite people. They are cute, sweet, mischievous and each has their very own personality just like humans do. I prefer to think of them as four legged people. I also give this title to cats and most other species so don't be too shocked. I once had a panther grouper who definitely was playful and very friendly. Animals are just cool! But this post is supposed to be about dogs and cats. Silly stories are soon to come but I wanted to share some of my recent pet portraits with you. They have a bit of a pop style and all are brightly colored which tends to add more fun to these paintings. At least that's what my customers tell me ;-)
